I'm just a guy who really likes Brand New.
In January 2009, I created a Twitter account to post news about the band because they didn't have one of their own. I thought giving them a presence on Twitter would be appreciated by their rabid fanbase. It gained over 10,000 followers in a few short months. In December of that year, Brand New finally decided to join Twitter, so the name of my account was changed from @brandnewrock (they took that over) to @brandnewrockfan.
I created this Tumblr account in 2011 as a counterpart to the Twitter, because sometimes you just need more than 140 characters.
